“A week before the race, one of their team riders got really sick and had to back out. And they just came to me and said, ‘Hey Jeff, you’re riding now.’ I was like, ‘What?’ I’ve never even been on a motocross… Well, I had been on a motocross track just for fun on a Banshee, which really isn’t a motocross quad. Baja was a whole different deal. That was my first ATV race ever. It was my first race ever.”
