Craig Johnson – Owner of Wild Ass Motorcycle Seats – joins myself and Clint to share his experience completing the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge in 2022 and his love for long-distance riding.
He also gives insight into the history and creation of Wild Ass Motorcycle Seats.

“The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is a 10,000 mile, roughly, 10,000 mile challenge. So there’s like, I think, five rules. You can’t use electronic navigation. You can’t carry extra fuel. You can’t receive outside assistance, meaning you can’t call me and say, ‘Hey, when you get, you know, 20 miles ahead here you’re going to be taking a right.’ You can’t do, you know, any outside assistance at all. You have to sleep outside with your motorcycle. And then the fifth thing was you have to get their tracking device. And the reason is, if you miss a mile of this route, you are not considered a finisher.”
