“What are some of your favorite projects to work on as far as marketing? Did you have to learn a ton of technical stuff about all these products in order to be able to market them?”

Heather Wilson – Co-Host

“I’ve always been a fairly technical guy. I’ve always kind of worked on my own stuff to a certain extent, but there was. There was a ton to learn. I learned a lot about how much actually goes into piston engineering and manufacturing. It’s not just a circular piece of metal like it looks like from the outside. It’s a deep dive for sure. I mean, pistons actually aren’t even round. They have a very specific cam and barrel profile.

I considered myself, you know, knowledgeable at like a DIY garage mechanic level, but there was definitely a ton to learn, and I’m still learning stuff every day. I learned a lot on the clutch side as well, with Rekluse. It’s an impressive, impressive amount and a lot that goes into the design and stuff in the clutch side of things, too.”
