“I grew up reading all the magazines every month. I grew up following the sport inside and out. I wasn’t planning on being a media guy, but when I was over being a mechanic, it really came naturally. That’s where I saw the hole in the market. I can bring an ESPN style of writing. Bill Simmons is a big influence of mine. I can bring this to motocross, and that’s when I started writing.”
