Building a Career in the Motorcycle Industry

Clint and myself are joined by Zoe Wroten-Morrissey – Supercross VIP Experience Coordinator with Feld Entertainment and Creative Assistant for On Track School. We discuss her role in the VIP experiences for Feld, as well as her involvement with the apprenticeship program at Loretta Lynn’s, which provides young people with hands-on experience in the motorcycle industry.

“Can you tell us more about that apprenticeship program? Because I’ve seen bits and pieces over the last couple of years about it. Do you know like how many people they accept into that and what are the kind of different roles that they have?”

Heather Wilson – Co-Host

“It was really a full circle moment for me this May when I started working with On Track School, because On Track took over the apprenticeship program. Making connections with MX Sports and Feld to even push the apprentice program into the professional outlets.

Normally, we have probably around 60 to 70 applicants, and then we admit normally 20 to 30 people.

Photography is one of our big ones, and we have the management aspect, the marketing aspect, operations. So there’s so many opportunities for the kids.

And the big thing with our sport, it’s all about who you know. So being able to go to an event like Loretta Lynn’s and work one-on-one with these industry leaders and make these connections is so essential.
