“How did you learn all the different aspects of roadracing to be able to conduct interviews?”

Heather Wilson – Co-Host

“It was a lot of trial and error. Truly, I jumped in with both feet and had to accept the fact or really just be unashamed of not knowing anything and asking as many questions as I could.  And I think that that’s how I was able to build such rapport and also earn respect from people — acknowledging that, ‘Hey, I don’t know this,’ and I’m not afraid to ask because that’s how I’m going to learn. And people were really receptive to that.

While we do have a lot of die-hard, lifetime fans who are more adept in their knowledge, I think I can kind of help bridge the gap to newer viewership and even female viewership. It’s like, ‘Oh, if she can do it and she can understand this, then why can’t I?'”
