“What are some of your favorite places that you’ve traveled to throughout the years? It’s probably hard to pick, because I feel like you probably had to get ten different passports because you filled them up.”

“I filled up quite a few over the years. For me, I like to go places that make me a little bit uncomfortable, and that’s part of what gets me excited about travel. And then sort of facing those fears and sort of debunking them and then doing that again. I really think that’s an interesting cycle to go through.
The combination of the excitement of riding and the excitement of the unknown and the unfamiliar where you’re in a place where you don’t speak the language, you can’t read the road signs, you don’t know where you’re going, you don’t understand the cultural cues, you really feel out there… and then put some riding on top of that and it’s like, oh, man. It’s really immersive.”
